Emma Bluck, founder and director of Spark Change

Emma has 25 years experience in strategic communications, multi-stakeholder partnering and corporate social responsibility spanning a range of vertical sectors. She is deeply interested in unlocking the potential of cross-sector collaboration, synthesising and communicating vision and inspiring others.

Emma has worked for market leading corporates, managed teams within the private and public sectors and consulted widely with SMEs, donors and not-for-profits. Prior to founding Spark Change, she spent 12 years at the multinational internet technology provider Cisco. During this time Cisco's employee base grew from 8000 to 80,000. Emma managed strategic communications on growth and change, corporate social responsibility and partnership building across Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America.

Experienced in articulating and managing technology, social and economic communications and change, and passionate about the health of our planet, Emma is a 2020 graduate of the Cambridge University Sustainability Institute where she studied sustainable business management. She is also a 2009 graduate of Cambridge University’s cross-sector partnership post-graduate M.A. course and has an M.A. in European Communications from the CELSA, Sorbonne University, Paris. 

Emma is a Partnership Brokering Association certified trainer, Climate Fresk facilitator and a Horizon 2020 SME Instrument evaluator for the European Commission. She is Carbon13 start-up advisor and a ChangeNOW 2022 volunteer.
